We understand the unique bond you share with other veterans of overseas conflicts because we, too, have been there. Since 1899, the VFW has been the nation’s leading veterans service organization in the fight to better the lives of all those who’ve worn the uniform of the United States military. No matter which conflict called you to service, we invite you to join us. Stand strong with the more than 1.5 million members of the VFW and its Auxiliary as together, we continue to fight for all that’s good FOR VETERANS.
The VFW Post Membership is open only to qualifying veterans who received certain qualifying awards while in the service. You may apply through the National VFW online. Once you’ve applied, you can select Post 7272 as your post location. We also offer physical applications, available at VFW Post 7272. You are welcome to come pick one up and return a completed version, with a copy of your DD214 and dues to any on duty staff member for processing by the Post 7272 Quartermaster.
Get Involved
If you don’t qualify for a VFW Post Membership, there are still plenty of ways to get involved! You can volunteer, donate or participate in a number of committees or events. For Family Members of Qualifying VFW Members
The Auxiliary is open to family members of qualifying VFW members. If interested in joining the Auxiliary, please contact Jillian Allsop, President of Auxiliary of Post 7272. The best way to contact Jill is to send a message through our Facebook page. Applications for the Auxiliary are also available at Post 7272 - pick one up from the bulletin board and leave completed copies with any on duty staff member for processing.
